Can Customers Find Your Business Online When They Are Ready to Buy?

First, check whether the business is discoverable at all.
Google says its systems automatically crawl the web, but some sites can still be missed. A simple site:yourdomain.com search gives a quick indication of whether pages are appearing; Search Console can then surface indexing and page-level issues.
Then remove decision friction.
A search result is a promise: the page should immediately confirm the service, location, proof and next step. Google’s own guidance recommends clear, concise titles and useful content because these help both search systems and people understand what a page offers. There is no guaranteed ranking, only a clearer path to being understood.
Make the enquiry measurable.
A phone number or form is not a conversion system if nobody knows which page or source produced it. Track the action that matters for the business, including calls, quote requests, bookings or orders, then improve the page that consistently creates qualified demand.
Three checks worth doing this week
Search the business name and core service, inspect the primary landing page on a phone, and attempt the main action yourself. If any step is unclear, slow or impossible to measure, the digital presence is leaving demand to chance.
